Is There Really Such Thing As Free Cell Phones

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Bob_Benson]Bob Benson With the popularity of cell phones on the rise, companies are constantly touting their offers for free cell phones. But are those offers real? There are some things to consider before you grab up one of those offers. Take a look at some facts and some options. The majority of free cell phones are offered by companies that provide cell phone service. These companies can afford to make the offer because theyre assured that theyre going to have your business for a set period of time. Thats because the only way youre really going to get one of their free cell phones is by signing a contract that binds you to cell phone service for a specific period of time. With that contract, youre agreeing to pay for the service usually for one or two years whether you use it or not. But if you price cell phones purchased outright, isnt it better to sign that contract than to pay the full price for a phone? Probably, but you should carefully evaluate your situation and be sure youre going to want to pay for the service for that length of time. Keep in mind that there are dozens of companies out there providing cell phone service, and theyre all vying for a specific customer base. Because of the situation, you have the upper hand at least to some degree. One of the gimmicks these companies use is to offer free cell phones in an attempt to gain new customers. Before you sign up, get a value for the phone theyre offering for free. Ask for the price of the phone if you dont sign a contract, and then price that phone with some other companies. You may find that the phone isnt worth very much anyway and that signing simply buying the phone without signing a contract is a better decision. Choosing a cell phone service provider should not end at which of those companies will provide the best free cell phones. Evaluate the service past the phone. The price of service, terms of the contract and features (call waiting, call forwarding and voice mail) should all play a role in your decision. When you weigh those aspects, you may find that buying a cell phone from company A is a better deal that taking the free cell phones from company B. Theres no doubt that there are free cell phones available. But as is true with most things, there are also strings attached and terms to be met in order to qualify. Fast Cash No Credit Check Personal Loans - How Do Cash Advances Work?

Tuesday, October 30th, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Carrie_Reeder]Carrie Reeder No credit check cash advance loans are ideal for eliminating short term cash flow problems. When emergencies arise, many people have a difficult time finding the necessary cash. In this instance, a cash advance loan is the solution. While quick personal loans offer convenience and fast approvals, applicants should fully understand how short-term loans works before accepting funds. Cash Advance Minimum and Maximum Loan Amounts Each cash advance or payday loan company varies; thus the loan minimums and maximums will also vary. Typical loan companies will allow you to borrow up to $1500 until your next payday. If you are a new borrower, companies may establish a first-time borrow limit of $500. If you repay the initial loan amount within the specified time frame, you are allowed to borrow a larger amount on your next visit. Because cash advance loan companies charge fees or finance charges, it is important to borrow only what you need and what you can afford to payback. Short-term loans must be repaid within two weeks. There are companies that will extend credit for up to 30 days. If accepting a longer term loan, be prepared to pay double the fees. Requirements for Payday Loan and Cash Advance Approvals Cash advance personal loans do not involve credit checks. Thus, individuals with poor and good credit will easily qualify for a short-term loan. Nonetheless, cash advance companies will need to be confident in your ability to repay funds. With this said, cash advance lenders require all applicants to have steady employment, earn a minimum monthly salary, and have a valid checking account. To verify information, the lender will either request faxed copies of paycheck stubs and banking information, or contact your employer and financial institution. Acquiring and Repaying Cash Advance Loans Once cash advance lenders verify stated information, you can expect funds to be directly deposited into your checking account within 24 hours. During emergencies, funds may be received within an hour. The lender retains your banking account information because the payment and interest will be drafted from your account on the due date, which is usually in two weeks. Major Holistic Health Therapies

Monday, October 29th, 2007

By Lizette Le Clus-Fox Holistic health is the state in which we are whole, spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally, in rhythm and in harmony with nature and our environment. So where does anthroposophical medicine or Ayurvedic medicine fit into this? What have biochemical tissue salts got to do with my holistic health and why are homeopaths, naturopaths, herbalists, traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, osteopaths, chiropractors, cranial sacro therapists so popular? If youve ever had an acupuncture session, done some qi gong or been to a cranial osteopath, youd know that you feel better all over. It isnt just women that are enjoying the benefits of a regular massage these days, men have discovered it too. Were talking about the benefits of holistic health therapies We all know the benefits of massage therapy from the gentle stroke of a lover to a mothers loving touch. It can play an important part in easing a wide range of health problems and is appropriate for almost any situation. Some of the most popular holistic therapies are commonplace these days. Acupressure, aromatherapy, chiropractic, flower remedies, massage and nutritional therapies, osteopathy, reflexology, shiatsu and lymphatic drainage are everyday treatments that some of us consider part of lifes necessities. Gone are the days when these treatments were regarded as little luxuries. In many ways, acupressure is something we all enjoy when our instincts tell us to rub or apply pressure to a painful or injured part of the body. Developing from this basic awareness, the ancient Chinese discovered that there were specific points on the body that could be pressed in order to relieve pain, tension or discomfort.Aromatherapy is very trendy these days and it is a readily accessible, subtle therapy that uses highly concentrated essential oils from plants and trees that are used to improve well-being on a physical, emotional and metal level. Chiropractic therapy manipulates the spine and other joints, and so gently encourages the body to carry out its functions in a balanced way as the spine returns to normal alignment. The 38 Bach flower remedies are gaining an increasingly popular profile - Im never without Rescue Remedy, the 5 flower formula that has become extremely popular as a non-addictive, gentle medicine for the treatment of symptoms arising from trauma, stress or accident. With the increasing obesity of the western world, nutritional therapy is in ever increasing demand. Weve all heard you are what you eat it is one of the most fundamental strategies we can adopt to improve our sense of health and vitality and beyond that, we can use it as a therapy that can ease the symptoms of illness. Osteopathy is an extremely popular system of wholistic medicine that focuses on the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, muscles, ligaments and connecting tissue) and attempts to establish the greatest potential for health by restoring function and mobility to this system. Osteopaths view the person as a unit in which structure, function, mind and spirit need to be in balance for the maintenance of good health.Reflexology involves applying gentle pressure to points on the feet and hands. The regulated pressure to certain parts of the feet has a therapeutic influence on those organs, glands and parts of the body that corresponds to the reflex being stimulated. Shiatsu is a dynamic form of body treatment that uses a variety of different kinds of pressure and stretches to stimulate the flow of energy along pathways (or meridians) that criss-cross the surface of the body. It may be regarded as parallel to acupuncture in that it seeks to rebalance and harmonize the flow of essential energy (or qi pronounced as chi) throughout the system as a whole and so enhances the bodys capacity for self healing This list barely scratches the surface. The benefits of holistic health therapy vary from person to person and the specific impacts are as individual as we are. One fact remains, we all benefit from it. Ladder Safety to Reduce Personal Injuries

Sunday, October 28th, 2007

By Ranjit Kaur There are many jobs that require working from a height such as window cleaners, scaffolders and roofers to name a few. These industries are vital to modern living; however, working from height can be perilous. During 2004 and 2005 almost 3800 suffered serious personal injuries as a result of a fall from height at work and a further 53 fell to their death. The majority of these falls were found to be a result of bad management. In many cases inadequate training is given to employees about the health and safety involved with working at height. This can result in employees causing accidents at work that result in personal injuries to themselves or others. Unsafe equipment such as ladders or harnesses that are worn or faulty could also cause workers to fall from height and result in serious head, neck, back or spinal cord injuries and even death. These issues are worsened by the fact that some employers do not even recognise that they have potentially dangerous health and safety issues within their company. This negligence of health and safety practices in the workplace needs to be overcome. The Health and Safety Commission Injury Reduction Programme which aims to reduce personal injury and fatality rates of falls from height by 2010 has already set the wheels in motion. In 2005 new guidelines regarding the use of ladders in the workplace was put in place to protect workers from falls and reduce the soaring personal injury rates. Here are a few more measures that may further prevent the likelihood of falls from ladders: When should a leaning ladder be used? Work should be carried out on stable platforms with a proper edge to prevent falls. Ladders should ideally only be used to transport workers from one platform to another. Otherwise, leaning ladders should be used to carry out simple tasks taking no more than half an hour to prevent the risk of fatigue that could cause a fall and potential personal injuries. Before stepping onto a ladder Make sure you are wearing sensible footwear Wear clothing of a sensible length so that it does not cause you to trip Check that the ladder is in good condition Make sure the ground is level and firm before leaning the ladder Make sure that the surface is not wet or slippery before leaning the ladder Slope the ladder at a safe distance using a suitable device (maximum slope 16 degrees, minimum slope 6 degrees) Secure the ladder at the top so it will not slip Leave around 1 metre at the top so that workers have something to grip Make sure your work area is well lit Keep the area surrounding your ladder tidy to prevent anybody tripping and knocking the ladder When on a ladder Always grip the ladder when climbing, placing each foot carefully on each rung Do not let go of the ladder - only perform tasks that need one hand Make sure that you have your balance before attempting any tasks while on the ladder Do not overreach when on the ladder, move the ladder closer So if you are employed within an industry that involves working from height on either ladders or scaffolding then take care. Abide by these simple safety rules to decrease the likelihood that you will be involved in an accident at work and end up sustaining serious or in extreme cases fatal injuries. If you do sustain a personal injury from a work accident which was not your fault then remember that you may be eligible to make a compensation claim. Do You Need a Lawn Tractor

Saturday, October 27th, 2007

By Andrew Caxton Taking care of a lawn is very important if you want it to look its best. Using a lawnmower needs to be done on a regular basis in order to keep it short and looking great. However, it is a hard task for a lot of people out there who have acres of land full of grass. Using a normal lawnmower on a lot of land could be a very tiring task and therefore it does put a lot of people off cutting their grass. This is where a lawn tractor could be of great benefit as it is one of the most powerful tools a gardener could ever wish for. What Are The Benefits Of A Lawn Tractor? The benefits of a lawn tractor are apparent for everyone to see and if you have one, the results truly are amazing. There will be no need for traditional lawnmowers anymore and hours of cutting every strand of grass and worrying about missing any will be long gone. With a lawn tractor it will really help people who have little time to cut the grass and it will be extremely easy too. They are very reliable and they are fast as well as being fun and easy to manoeuvre. Remember Safety When Using a Lawn Tractor Having a lawn tractor can be extremely fun and a lot of people would love to have one. However, as well as it being easy and fun, there are safety issues with a lawn tractor and unless respected, they could be a potential lethal weapon. Things can sometimes go out of control, therefore putting you and others in danger so it is important to follow safety guidelines when using the lawn tractor. What Can You Do To Make Things Safer When Using A Lawn Tractor? You may be aware of how dangerous a lawn tractor can be, but you may not be aware of what you can do to make things a lot safer. Before you start, you should look for any obstructions in the way; otherwise the tractor could run over things and even send sharp bits of debris flying into the air. Also, it is important to wear safety gear when using the lawn tractor, such as protective shoes and even safety goggles or glasses. This may seem a bit drastic but it could even save you from a serious injury if things were to go wrong. It is very important to not become complacent with a lawn tractor at any time, even if you have been driving one for many years. It only takes one incident to change things and it could even be fatal. So, always know what to look out for, keep safety in mind and you should be able to use a lawn tractor safely and easily. Depression Sufferers Cannot Help Themselves

Friday, October 26th, 2007

By Donny Lowy What would the reaction of the media be if it came out that there was a disease that affected millions of people, for which they could not find help? You would be right in saying that the reaction would be both swift and explosive. There is a disease which affects millions, and maybe even hundred of millions of people, for which there is no help. Actually there is help, but the problem is that the sufferers dont know that they are infected. This disease is actually depression. While the medical field has produced many therapies and medications to help those suffering from depression, this help is not reaching many of those who are affected. The reason this calamity is taking place, is because many people walk through life without realizing that they are clinically depressed. For this reason, Donny Lowy, has launched www.curemydepression.com. Many people who are debilitated by depression could be effectively helped, if they only knew that they were clinically depressed. www.Curemydepression.com offers detailed steps, strategies, and tips, to help provide guidance for those suffering from depression. Even more importantly, it has articles that explain what the tell tale signs of depression are. While the site does not give medical advice, it does provide explanations of what depression is, and what can be done to help someone who is depressed. www.Curemydepression.com also offers guidance for those who might have a friend or loved one who is experiencing depression. If you believe that the earlier a disease is spotted, the higher the chance of curing it is, then you know that time is of the essence when it comes to helping yourself, or someone you know, who is depressed. Donny Lowy, who is the CEO of http://www.closeoutexplosion.com, and http://www.wholesalecloseoutforum.com, launched http://www.curemydepression.com to provide educational guidance on the subject of depression. How Long, O Lord!

Thursday, October 25th, 2007

By Patricia Nordman “My soul is in anguish. How long, O Lord, how long?” (Psalm 6:3). There are many how-longs in the Bible. While Providence smiles, we take no notice; His consolations seem insignificant to none when all is well in our lives. We forget that He gives as well as takes. Then when a cloud slips past the sun, we forget that the sun still exists. Even when it is midnight and we are deep in the dark night of our soul, God still lives. It is we who eclipse Him, not vice versa. And it is a vice to forget this. “As when the sun is eclipsed, though the earth wants the light thereof, yet not the influence thereof; so God’s supporting grace is ever with His deserted” (Trapp). Complaint should be carried to God and not be of God or anyone else. Because He is the same yesterday when we had joy, today when we have grief, and tomorrow when we have a new kind of joy born of faith in His purposes, then we should trust anyway and always. “This, too, shall pass!” Our God has measured our crosses to our caliber and He has calibrated just what we can bear. He has also appointed the time, and there are times when our disappointment is His appointment. Even if we carry our cross to our grave, when we arise in our resurrection, blooms of love and elation will be flourishing from that cross, because we were faithful and believed to the end that God will bring good from what is so bad. Sorrows may end here; they most assuredly will end hereafter. Jesus asked His how longs, too: “O unbelieving and perverse generation…how long shall I stay with you and put up with you?” (Luke 9:41). Surely He felt a “how long” when He hung on the cross for us. We ask our how longs and our how muches; God simply asks us, “How much do you love Me? Is it enough to bear with what I now have for you, no matter how long it may last?” Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Patricia_Nordman http://EzineArticles.com/?How-Long,-O-Lord!&id=195456 meridia online prescription best buy meridia phentermine propecia meridia-for-sale-purchase-at-a-discount-ourmediaorg order cheap meridia

Overview on Ginkgo Biloba Therapy

Wednesday, October 24th, 2007

By Jean Helmet Ginkgo biloba is the main ingredient of some of the most effective memory supplements nowadays. However, before proceeding to a ginkgo biloba therapy, people are advised to ask for medical advice. The doctors are able to determine the normal dosage and will inform the patients about the possible side effects that may appear. The ginkgo biloba therapy is suitable to all the people who experience mild to medium memory problems. The effects of the herb become visible in short time. The ginkgo biloba extract includes over 40 benefic substances, but flavonoids and terpenoids are responsible for most of the benefits of this herb. These two types of antioxidants fight the free radicals that otherwise would cause cancer and heart diseases, or would help in the development of such health problems. The bad effects of the free radicals are furthermore increased by the environmental toxins, such as radiation, air pollution or cigarette smoke. Flavonoids and terpenoids improve the immune system by stopping the action of the free radicals. Patients who suffer from bad blood circulation may also want to follow the ginkgo biloba therapy. Some of the substances contained by this herb relax the blood vessels and help them to expand. When the blood does not circulate properly, the brain is affected, too. Furthermore, ginkgo biloba prevents cholesterol from changing into plaque. If the transformation succeeds, plaque is deposited on the arteries and the blood will circulate with difficulty. Eventually, this leads to stroke, which is one of the causes of memory loss. In addition, stroke represents a fatal risk to ones health. Therefore, the ginkgo biloba therapy can also be followed by people who suffer from hypercholesterolemia. People who suffer from certain eye problems can also find relief by following the ginkgo biloba therapy. Diabetes and age-related macular degeneration can affect the retina and thus determine undesirable health problems. For example, age-related macular degeneration, which usually affects older people, can lead to blindness, if left untreated. Ginkgo biloba is one of the best resources people can use for enhancing the pain-free walking distance. Ginkgo biloba helps people to improve most of their mental processes, such as memory, learning and thinking. It also helps a bit to reduce the depression. The ginkgo biloba therapy proves to be effective also when used on people who suffer from Alzheimers disease. However, some side-effects, such as headaches, gastrointestinal discomfort, diarrhea and nausea may be noticed, but only in seldom cases. Pseudomonas in Cottage Cheese and Dairy

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

By Leon Van Der Westhuizen Under refrigerated conditions, Gram-negative rods that are ableto produce under such conditions ( psychrotrophic/cold-lovingbacteria ) usually predominate, especially Pseudomonas spp. This is especially so when the milk has a high initial infectionof these bacteria and the milk is stored for 2-4 days beforepasteurization - which is often the case these days, where milkis mostly being picked up from farms every second day only. This deterioration also often influences the final products madefrom such milk, because although bacteria will mostly be killedby pasteurization, some produce exo-enzymes that survivepasteurization and even the UHT (Ultra High Temperature/LongLife) process in some cases. An example of Pseudomonas attacking dairy products happen a lotwith cottage cheese. Pseudomonades are widely distributed andaerobic. They tend not to need much carbohydrate, which helpthem a lot in attacking cottage cheese, because most of thelactose has been removed in the cheese making process. They livevery well on high-protein foods like cottage cheese producingslime, pigments and odours. They also prefer high water activity( high moisture), which makes cottage cheese pretty much theideal food considering everything that has been said. Many Pseudomonas spp. are psychrotrophic ( cold-loving )bacteria although they will grow a lot faster from 15 degreesCelsius to temperate. Thus a temperature shock during transport for example will givethem a big boost - to cause even more destruction.
